While I think that ideas of free software are right, I think there is a mistake in a way how they are promoted.

The problem is that free software guys are very strict about what they use. This isn't a problem when we talk about personal use, but when it comes to promotion of free software it becomes a big problem.

People that should be targeted by such promotions shouldn't be those that use free software already because they probably know about it.

Emacs seems like a powerful customizable text editor that can do anything.

Here are some problems that i have with it:

1) Emacs has its own unique keyboard shortcuts

Example: need to close emacs? “hold ctrl and press x then hold ctrl and press c”

It is inconvenient to have different set of keyboard shortcuts only for text editor, no matter how great it is, you still use it on a system with other software.*

I agree that on its own this is not a big problem, however combined with others it is.

I am in a process of studying Scheme - functional programming language. While it is also a dialect of the programming language Lisp.

From time to time I notice news about false information on the internet.

In my opinion that is because articles are written by single person or small group of people, but the articles are needed everyday. That is why producing good articles about different subjects is hard and most of the time the person that is writing the article is not competent. For those few hours that person spend studying subject he has seen only the tip of the iceberg.

Free as in freedom not as in free beer. This post is going to be about free software.

I always wanted to use free system instead of windows but it is a system not just a program so it is not that easy.

Now I am not destiny fan or blizzard fan not at all but the game is not as bad as I thought. That is a great achievement, actually blizzard is only publisher, and game is made by bungie and then ported to pc by some other company so it is kind of crazy.

I was worrying about the company that did pc port because I never heard about it before and you know pc ports of console games are often extremely bad, but not this time.

Steps:

1. open startup folder
2. place shortcut inside

1. Easy way:

Press Windows+R on keyboard, in opened window type shell:startup and hit enter

1. Other option if solution above doesn't work

Open file explorer hit this pc, open Users folder, then open user (or your username) folder.

Now click at bar above folders which should look like "local disk (C:) > Users > user>"
